Tyler Channell
Assistant Coach

Tyler Channell is entering his third season as an assistant coach for the SVSU Women's Soccer program.

He transitions over the the coaching side after a great career for the SVSU men's team, ranging from 2011-2015.

Channell earned GLIAC Offensive Player of the Year honors twice during his career, being honored as a sophomore in 2013 and again as a senior in the 2015 campaign.

James Decosemo
Assistant Coach

Graduated from Northwood University with a degree in Marketing. Earned 1st team all GLIAC and 1st team Daktronics all region scoring 13 goals. Captained Lansing United where I hold the record for most appearances, Also won the NPSL Midwest Region and played in the National Semi Final 2014.

Current Director of Nationals Capital Area based in Lansing.

Born in Stokesley, England.

Joe White
Assistant Coach

Joe White joined the SVSU Soccer Coaching staffs for the 2018 season. He will work with the goalkeepers for both the men's and women's programs.

White is a native of London, England, where he played his final season at home for Stevenage FC, a pro team in league one.

He was a two-year starter at Warner Pacific University in Oregon, where he was an all-conference honoree.

White transferred to Hastings College in Nebraska in 2016, where he started for two seasons as well. He led the Broncos to the 2016 NAIA National Championship and was named the National Championship Tournament's Most Valuable Player.

Joe was tabbed as an NAIA All-American both of his seasons at Hastings and was twice named the Great Plains Athletic Conference Player of the Year as a goalkeeper.
